Goldfish are often thought of as cute little orange fish dragged home from a county fair in a plastic bag filled with water, only to be housed in a glass bowl until the sad day when the goldfish is found floating belly up.

My goldfish requires a proper sized tank

A good sized environment is essential for the growth and the health of your goldfish. If you are considering putting two or more goldfish in one tank, then you need to vary the size of your tank on the number of goldfish that you want to put inside.

Know the right amount of water for your tank

This is the same with the tank. Each goldfish have one equivalent proper amount of water to live in. Goldfish releases too many faces and wastes most of the time and this causes the water to be polluted. If there are too many goldfish in one tank and only small amount of water, chances are goldfish will easily get sick and will affect the rest of the fish in the aquarium. Whereas if there is more than enough room for everyone inside the tank, then there are chances that your goldfishes will be happy and healthy.
Aside from the right amount of water to fill the tank, you also need to make sure that you only filling in good quality of water.

Do not over feed

Sure you love them too much that you don’t want them to be hungry but you also need to understand too much for anything will always be bad. Feed them properly each time. Over feeding your goldfish can easily give them constipation and they can also have problems with their swim bladder causing them to float in your tanks. So, always make sure that you are just giving them the right amount of food every time. Well actually not just the right amount but you also have to make sure that you are giving them the proper food for them. Don’t just give them anything. Know what Is good for them.

Maintain a proper temperature for the fish tank

There is certain temperature that goldfish find comfortable. You have to be sure that the water is between the temperatures of 20 to 23 degrees Celsius. It is very important to keep your goldfish comfortable inside the tank as it will affect their overall performance.

Maintain cleanliness in the tank

Like any other animals, goldfishes are just like us. They also want to have a clean and healthy surrounding to live in. A clean and healthy surrounding will result to a happy and healthy goldfish. You have to watch for those unconsumed food and change the water in the tank as often as possible as this will all contribute to a very serious problem for your goldfish in the future.
